The stature of Clemson University’s MBA program has received yet another boost with the announcement that its business administration advanced-degree program has been ranked among the top 55 in the country.

University Headquarters (HQ), an online resource for helping students navigate through the higher education process, cited the Clemson MBA program for its full- and part-time options and the variety of programs it offers students.

The University HQ recognition is the fourth recent national ranking agency that has cited the quality of Clemson’s MBA programs. Princeton Review surveyed more than 300 colleges and graduate business schools’ entrepreneurial MBA programs in ranking Clemson 30th among its top 50 programs in the country, according to Entrepreneur magazine.

Additionally, Poets & Quants has the corporate MBA program in its top 100 nationally and College Consensus places Clemson’s recently launched online MBA program as the 12th most valuable in the nation.

In recognizing Clemson’s business administration advanced-degree program, University HQ said:

“Clemson University stands out with its MBA programs as many are uniquely specialized in a way far different from other programs. Students can select a traditional MBA or an online MBA with a similar curriculum, or individuals can choose a corporate MBA, an entrepreneurship and innovation MBA, or a business analytics MBA. Most programs are available as either part-time or full-time courses. An added bonus is each student has access to one-on-one career coaching and regular employer spotlights.”

Greg Pickett, associate dean and director of MBA programs in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, said the University HQ ranking is more validation of the quality Clemson delivers in its business advanced degree programs.

“What’s particularly noteworthy is the stature of the schools we are listed with in the University HQ ranking,” Pickett said. “This recognition along with the other recent rankings of our MBA program is a testament to the high-level of business education we are delivering to tomorrow’s business leaders.”

The MBA program, which enrolls approximately 600 full-time and part-time students, increased enrollment 4.3 percent over a year ago.

In ranking programs, University HQ considers a few criteria, including graduation and admission rates; tuition cost; graduating salary; number of programs offered, including online; loan default rate; diplomas awarded; and percent of students receiving financial aid.

University Headquarters is a resource for finding top rated colleges, scholarships, potential salaries and helping one find the right career. The organization’s goal is to become one of the best online resources helping students navigate through the higher education process.
